Sketch Topic: Elliott the First Grade Super Hero
The other week we received this fun topic:
“My son Elliott . . . loves super heros . . . hates first grade. He would be a reluctant (if not a bit moody) super hero. He would be kind of like Wolverine . . . in first grade. He skateboards and has a mohawk”
So here goes! With just that to go on – let’s see what the Crashlanders bring – and to kick it off, here’s my rendition of “Elliott: The First Grade Superhero”!
Hope you like it Elliott!
Sketch Cards (just a few)
Thought I’d make a quick post – countdown to Baltimore Comic Con commences (actually – we’ll probably make a bigger post about it soon – but if you’re planning on going, we hope to see you there!) In the meantime I’ve been working on a few commissioned sketch cards (getting ready for the Iron Man set… more on that to come too!) and thought I’d post a few of them! (Prismacolors and microns)

Don’t forget to check out the latest episode of Eric’s “Spaced Thing” and Jamie’s epic “This Is How We Met” (both new updates today!)
Stay tuned for this week’s sketch topic too! It’s a fun one!
Tutorials
Well, we have a tutorial section and what good is having a tutorial section without any tutorials? So, in order to break the ice and get that sucker filled with lots of tutorials, I’ve posted a recent tutorial I did. Well, not really a tutorial, more of a behind the scenes kind of thing. In it, I take you through the process of creating my Wonder Woman illustration (see image bellow).
We plan on hopefully having more tutorials in the near future. Tutorials to learn how to use Photoshop and Illustrator. And also some tutorials on everyday things like, How To Shave In Three (3) Easy Steps, How To Rule The World Before Age 20 and…
Okay okay. I’m kidding of course. But, you know, head on over and read the tut’.
